VERIZON USERS: Only STORM and TOUR are supported!

The Verizon or Alltel Curve 8330 will not work with this software.

A BB data plan is required and if you pay by KB then this app may not be for you even though not much data is sent each time.

STEP 1 : Install the tiny application on your Blackberry

SEND LINK TO YOUR BLACKBERRY FOR OVER THE AIR (OTA) INSTALL :

STEP 2:

Look for this icon in your Blackberry downloads folder after installation :

 

 

 

 

Run the SimpleTrax Setup application on the Blackberry. Follow the instructions to register and activate your first device. The app will run in the background automatically.

If you have more than one device just install the the software on the other devices and run the SimpleTrax Setup app on those devices as well.

STEP 3:

The Blackberry should be added to your account at this point. The location will be acurate after the first time it gets a valid GPS location (you need to be outdoors to get valid GPS locations). Please make sure your GPS is active on the Blackberry by going to: Options->Advanced->GPS->GPS Services>Location ON

Log in to your account here and you should see the new device in your list. If you don't see your Blackberry listed please make sure the email address on the Blackberry matches the one you used to log into this site.

STEP 4: Setup a second device on your account :

If you want to see how to setup a second device just run the SimpleTrax Setup app on those devices and follow the on-screen instructions.
